Farm Host

Mart Vahtel has been the host of Viruna farm since 1987. Before moving to Viruna, Mart worked as an actor at the Ugala Theatre. All the buildings, of which there are about ten, were erected by Mart himself.

Mart is also popularly known as the Baron of Viruna. The Baron of Viruna knows many stories about local fairies, trolls, living trees, and other bog inhabitants.

Led by the Baron of Viruna, the bog hike is like a fairytale, and the admirable labyrinth of bog pools has a magical and enchanting effect!
